It seems that some doofus at the Cincinatti Zoo arraigned to sell combination tickets to the zoo and Ham's Creation Fantasy Sideshow. Needless to say, this caused no little consternation among the local and not-so-local, scientific community. Letters were written and phone calls were made, and sales of apoplexy medications went up. Now, it seems that the matter is being rectified and there is not going to be a combo platter of Science & Six-Day served.

How&ever, AiG is happily advertising the tickets, and their reaction to being off the ballot, as it were, might be a good, even funny read.

Monitor Angst in Genesis for a few days, and perhaps, if we're lucky it will be to laugh.

Oops, not any more. Now the ticket page link will only get you a "Page Not Found."

Well, maybe there will be some comments on it, but probably not from AiG. This time I think, they know when they've been licked by an allosaurus.

And here it is. I'm lazy today, so I'll let PZ tell it:
Boo hoo

We have made Ken Ham very sad. Yay, bonus!

"We are disappointed with the zoo's decision and its impact on the families and visitors to the region who would have enjoyed taking advantage of this opportunity to make this a truly memorable Christmas," said Answers in Genesis and Creation Museum founder and president Ken Ham. "Both the Creation Museum and the Cincinnati Zoo have put together spectacular Christmas displays, and we were excited to partner with them to promote these events in a combination package that would have been of great value to the community." "My family and I have been Cincinnati Zoo members for more than 10 years now, so I am also personally saddened that this organization I esteem so highly would find it necessary to back out of this relationship. At the same time, I have learned that the zoo received hundreds of complaints from what appear to be some very intolerant people, and so I understand the zoo's perspective. Frankly, we are used to this kind of criticism from our opponents, and so being 'expelled' like this is not a huge surprise," Ham continued.
Kind's predictanle, I guess, but it's so good to feel a nose bending under a knuckle. It gets bent a little more farther down the page.

Ken Ham (as quoted from Filthy's post above):
"My family and I have been Cincinnati Zoo members for more than 10 years now,"

He should be a Cincinnati Zoo member in the sense of being locked up in the ape-cage with the rest of the zoo's primates.
