Mr, Obama, republicans have no intentions of supporting your program, no matter how much you court them. They take that as a sign of weakness. They only understand hardball tactics-wakeup Mr. President. They will take whatever you give them and ask for more. They are bent on tax cuts even though tax cuts have very limited stimulus impact compared to infrastructure stimulus impact on the economy (1.00 vs. 1.50). They're using the GOP pet agenda items and justifying them while blasting the DEM's pet agenda items. They will claim that things like remodeling federal buildings, re-doing federal lawns as non-stimulus while the truth is that these are more stimulus than tax cuts. They don't like giving tax rebates to people who don't pay taxes because their earnings are below the tax income level. They are just plainly anti-poor people. Repairing lawns would go to small lawn contractors. Building highways go to large contractors like Haliburton. As soon as Mr. Obama proposed a limit on CEO salaries of $500,000.00 who accept government bailout money, several GOP senators rushed out to say the Government shouldn't be dictating a company's compensation. However, it was OK for the Government to dictate the terms of well fare recipients who received government money.

Good points.
I would add that any destruction of President Obama by the GOP would be little more than "collateral damage" in what looks indistinguishable from a campaign to destroy as much of the world's peace and prosperity as possible.
So far, they've had pretty good results, having effectively destroyed much of Iraq and the world economy. Also, the attempted destruction of the Obama presidency should be viewed within the context of the GOP's destruction of their own Party. They've been far more effective at wrecking themselves than at hurting Obama.

| Agree. And if the situation were not so dire, I'd be richly enjoying the sublime, even poetic sight of them slitting their own, scaberous, mendacious throats.
Oh hell, I'll admit it; I'm enjoying it anyway and hope the political pachyderm-blood overflows the gutters of the country. And if there's a little actual gore in with it, that's ok, too. They've got it coming and it's long overdue.
It'll take a little while, though; their knives are as dull as their collective intellect.
