In the theme of cognitive dissonance, how about a picture of Jesus on the cross, with a caption underneath it something like this:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, who was really himself, as a sacrifice to himself, so that he could save face when he forgave his flawed creation for the flaws he had created in them, that whosoever believeth in him/them should not perish, but have everlasting life, but only if they believed this cockamamie story."
Of course, the caption needs to be much more pithy than that... |
