Scientific American posted an interactive map of the US, showing the states where there was recent activity concerning Creationism as of September 10, 2008.
Things seem much better than I'd thought they might be.
The map is a bit out of date, but it is encouraging as it demonstrates clearly, to my mind, that Creationist moves have succeeded in no state except Louisiana (where Bobby Jindal's Creationist laws are likely to be overturned eventually in court).
