This is the same Todd Friel who hosts that aptly-named "Wretched Radio".

That Todd Friel idiot was totally out of his element, simply because Hitchens would not be stampeded. Hitchens clearly knew more about that pious fraud's business than Friel did. Friel worked from a simple script, and was frustrated again and again, never gaining traction. I loved every moment of it.

Among the coolest things about how Hitch handled the interview is that he actually played Friel's game, and did not disrupt it by reneging on the promise to go along with his (ridiculous) hypotheticals. And he still seized Friel's own trap and beat him over the head with it.

Yeah. I suspect that Hitchens knew of the show and how the 'interview' was going to go and knew how weak it was.
Which gets to prove that doing preliminary research is key. Something Todd Friel obviously fails to understand 'God is not good? Can't the wanker even get the name of his guest' book right? Let alone read it? |

Though I have, to my regret, found that I have ill-defined but real limits to the physical aspects of women I can become attracted to, I have also learned that intelligence and sanity are the most important aspects in my attractions.
In other words, if an available woman has plain but decent looks coupled with brains and a joyous outlook, she's very attractive to me. Sometimes (as with Abbie Smith) I get an utterly unrealistic crush going, but I suspect that I'm not the only one to do so, and at least I know it's unrealistic.

Apart from that, yeah, no contest, she actually was the one I was thinking about. But now, as so not to objectify females too much, we'd need the female and gay side of the fora to post on the respective appeal of the male members of the skeptic community.

I figure a good response would have been for him to ask Friel if lust makes one less likely to acknowledge god...if Friel said "yes", then Hitchens could have said that if that were truly the case, then there'd by no pedophile priests.
