In a noble but likely vain effort to straighten Dan out, Yaeger has posted a link to a Skeptoid article where the killings in the name of religion and "atheism" are discussed.
Notice that the first video Dan has is of Dinesh D'Souza. Lovely guy.
I said eleswhere once before that one should look at the religiously inpsired Thirty Years War in Germany. It took about one-third of the population. Not much maybe compared to the Communists, say...but what would one-third of the population of MODERN germany be?
That should tell you something. There are more people to kill in modern times as compared to when religion was running amock, we have more efficient weapons, and there's one last thing: Religious killings went on for centuries. I don't think you can say the same of "atheists" killings...
For some real fun, google that guy's name on science blogs.
