Bill scott.....
I know nothing about you but you come off as a bitter old man. | Well, you're dead right about the "old' part. Mooner says 'you're just as old as you feel' and I feel about 110 most of the time. I stick around this endless puppy fight just to try and maintain a youthful outlook - wholistic medicine, you know!
Thank you for the carefully thought out personal appraisal. It gives me pause. In my life, I've been called more things than you - being a proper young fundie - can possibly imagine; but never before "bitter".
I really would like you to enlarge a bit on that opinion - all the reasons you carefully chose that particular word. I'm serious.
In fairness, I would be happy to give my appraisal of you to one and all here on the Forum. It has changed radically recently, largely due to the "Haiti Relief" thread. If you would rather I didn't, that's fine, I'll keep my big boastful mouth shut.
Anyway, Bill, you're a piece of work, and a rather complicated one at that! |

Not sure I would say the Nazis being "voted in" are at all analogous to what he was saying, the SA had a little to do with that, no?
I do agree with the segregationist analogy, but then again there are still ex-segregationists in the Senate, so maybe holding a position that later becomes acknowledged as unjust is not necessarily all that harmful to a politician. |
