One of Comfort's cartoonists (not Ray Gunter) has posted about how she and the bible feel about lying. Well, I commented in that post to see how she reacts to being caught out lying herself.

Those facts do far more than simply refute the charge that "Darwinism" led to the Holocaust -- they throw it back in the faces of the revisionist Christians who make that charge. Thanks. Though I still can't get any of those geographical riddles you're always putting out. Researching facts is easy; trying to figure out those maps you put up is damn near impossible for me! phphp

Those riddles would completely baffle me, too. But making them tough is child's play compared to solving them. The participants here are often eerily brilliant at solving them, so I have to make 'm tough. |

No, my point is that Jacob was doing artificial selection on goats and sheep, just like Hitler was doing on humans. If the practice is "demonic," then why did God have someone write of it approvingly? |

Well, not really. Hitler was killing people. Animal husbandry is just deciding which ones mate, but otherwise letting them live. I mentioned animal husbandry in my reply to her.

Really, in animal husbandry, a lot of the animals you don't allow to mate, you eat, because they're not performing as well.
And Jacob was separating the weak from the strong. And they weren't his animals to begin with, so he couldn't just kill the weaklings (but I can't imagine he'd keep them and waste food on keeping them alive if they were his). But the same principles apply to what Jacob was doing as to what Hitler was doing. And because both are examples of artificial selection, Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection doesn't apply. |
