Beat this suckers!

Naturally, PZ Myers couldn't care less about this kind of thing. Guess who does?

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

[spam] I happen to have acquired 10,000 of those lovely models. I'm willing to part with them for a mere $20 each, or at the bargain rate of $150 the dozen. (Special included stealth features make these models unsuitable for photomicrography.) [/spam]

Half, can I pay you in Federation credits?

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

As someone with no grasp of the science whatsoever, I find this amazing!

I am reminded of those shows and movies there a vessel of some sort and it's crew are shrunken down small enough to travel in a human circulatory system, which for whatever reason, they proceed to do. How it all comes out is all according to who goes in and why.

I have finally come to realize that this is actually possible, less the on-board crew of course. That's remarkable, and just a little chilling.

I actually designed, printed and distributed what were probably the first Federation Credit banknotes, back in the early 1970's. So no. I think of that as funny-money.

What about Confederate money, then? :P

As long as it's not more counterfeit than the original CSA bills, sure! I recall when I was a kid, "Confederate" bills were sold through comic book ads. I didn't buy any, because I suspected they were reprints. I'd already been ripped off by Johnson Smith Company too many times.

In today's economy and not wanting counterfeit (worthless)money, you might consider only accepting Gold, Silver or Platinum. There's not much real difference between greenbacks and counterfeit in reality, just who prints the stuff. I'd prefer the first few thousand in sales to be exchanged for long storage food stuffs. With all subsequent sales in metals stated. Wink! SS
