The article is a couple years old now, but maybe you missed seeing this leviathan of the depths. Note the giant squid photo captions... "Eyes as big as dinner plates", and "Eye lenses big as oranges". Amazing creature.

I read that some time back -- way cool!
But Kil, don't get too excited about eating it; it will be loaded with ammonia. Yuk! Squid depend on ammonia to create buoyancy and the bigger the squid, the more there is. I'll bet some eyes were watering when they thawed that baby out!
