Simon Singh wins libel case appeal in Royal Courts of Justice The new ruling determines that Singh can defend his writing as "fair comment" - rather than having to justify it as fact.
In the appeal hearing, the Lord Justice Chief Judge said he was "baffled" by the BCA's claim against Singh. |

Very interesting read.
Especially, the part which reveals that the BCA referred to "scientific study" which had no control group. BCA is relying on studies which are not double-blind, how's that for science? |

| His words were twisted so badly. I think it was ruled originally that he said the chiropractors knowingly support useless treatments, but he never suggested they knew they were bad, only that they were supporting the ideas without enough evidence. |

| That's a great step. Now Simon should be able to fight the case without both hands tied. But libel reform is much needed in the UK! |
