I'm sort'a reminded of the old Cajun who sent his boy off to college. When the lad came home on a break, he asked;, "What do you learn up there in that big ol' school, eh?"

The boy replied, "Well Papa, we learned about math and all like that. We learned that there is this formula that says pi r square, and...."

But with that, the old man jumped up from his chair and fetched the little smartass a brisk clout on the ear, shouting, "Pie are not square; pie are round! Cornbread are square!"

Like that old Cajun, I don't get it either.

With apologies to Justin Wilson, et al., whom I have shamelessly paraphrased.

filthy, a classic joke though I hadn't heard before the nice little cornbread addition.

Regarding the pi/pie image, picture the numbers as letters on the PIE side.

It's an oldie goldie, for sure. I first heard it in grammar school, around the same time I found out about pi. Justin Wilson told it best.

I currently have only one working eye, so no wonder couldn't see the PIE!
