Wow. Ignorance on parade some more.

The National Tea Party Federation was able to expel the Tea Party Express from the Federation because the Tea Party Express was a member-group in the Federation. A founding member-group, even. If it hadn't been a member, the Federation would have had no authority over it.

Just like nobody can kick you out of the Atheist Club, Bill, because you're not a member.

I did not post a poll, Bill, I posted a survey. There is a difference, you know. It was a survey that I found of mild interest, and you did not. Your loss.

Anyhow, all the polls taken thus far are meaningful only on the day that they are taken, and meaningless on the next. Surveys last slightly longer.

As for 'bagger racism, it is far from dead with the explusion of Williams, and if you think that it is then you need to update your meds and learn a little about human nature. You can change the way a man speaks with a soft word or a deadly threat in private, but it takes a lot more than that change his mind, and racist opinions go clear to the bone..

Could someone show me where the NAACP called the Tea Party a racist organization?

Evidently they didn't. They pussyfooted around it by talking about "raciest elements," thereby remaining politically correct.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Leaders of the country's largest civil rights organization accused tea party activists on Tuesday of tolerating bigotry and approved a resolution condemning racism within the political movement.

The resolution was adopted during the annual convention in Kansas City of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, spokesman Chris Fleming said. Local tea party organizers disputed claims of racism and called on the NAACP to withdraw the resolution.

Debate was mostly closed to the public, but the final version of the resolution "calls on the tea party and all people of good will to repudiate the racist element and activities within the tea party," said Hilary Shelton, director of the NAACP's Washington bureau.

"I hope it will empower the tea party to actually look at itself and see that there are those who are noticing things that I think most tea partiers don't want," he said.

Alaska's semi-Governor and political trollop, Sarah Palin, is saddened by this....

You mean the tea party uses racier terms than "teabag"?

Filthy, how many times do I have to tell you not to be insulting to the other semi-governors?

Gone but not forgotten? Oh no, he's still around and, I'm sure, will remain so. He appears to be one of those irritating people, found in all races, creeds and colors who are unable to keep their gobs shut.

With video
Mark Williams -- having seen his Tea Party Express booted from the National Tea Party Foundation for his nakedly racist screed about "coloreds" -- went on CNN Newsroom with Don Lemon yesterday and announced he was stepping down as the TPE spokesman. In the process, demonstrated exactly why the Tea Parties cannot distance themselves from their racists within quite as easily as they'd like:

LEMON: So I want to ask you, why did you resign from the Tea Party Express?

WILLIAMS: To take the spotlight off of me. It's a movement. It's not about me. It's not about my ego. It's not about my fat head. I did succeed in getting the NAACP to the table. And by the way this tea party federation which represents exactly 40 groups out of 5,000, I was never a member of. I have no idea who they are, but they threw me out.

Hmmmm. This is most peculiar, since the press release announcing the formation of the National Tea Party Foundation in April 2009 lists the Tea Party Express as one of its founding member organizations. And I can't find any indication the Tea Party Express ever indicated that this listing was in error.

In any event, Williams then went on to explain that he was still very much a Tea Party activist:

We have not heard the last of Mr. Williams, unfortunatly, and now I wonder exactly what his position in the party is and how much authority he actually wields. We shall see....
