Then did you say that the $14 trillion debt is Obama's fault?
We were told the "stimulus" would keep unemployment below 8% and that 1000's of shovel ready jobs would be created by creating a nearly 1 trillion dollar federal slush fund. When in reality we got a short bump from the census workers and now unemployment holds steady at 10% while BO has acknowledged that no shovel ready shops were created with the trillion dollar slush fund.
So you're going to hold Congress blameless, and assert that Obama managed to get the stimulus passed without any other elected officials' help?
Where else has universal insurance been tried?
Taxachusetts.
I suppose, if Massachusetts is somewhere "else around the world."
And how is that going?
Don't really care. I'm against health insurance. Obama dug up a 20-year-old Republican health-insurance reform plan because a more liberal system wouldn't pass even with Democrats.
So you've got to reach back 147 years to find an example?
Now your adding qualifiers?
No, just pointing out that speech writers have been around for a long, long time.
He was just able to come up with his own material and do rather well with it so why use a writer?
You're suggesting that the ideas in Obama's speeches aren't original to Obama, that he's just reading whatever the teleprompter puts in front of him. Got any evidence that Obama's speech writers are doing more than polishing the language and the pacing?
Dude that lady was all over MSNBC last night with not so much as even a scratch on her.
Thanks again for your expert diagnosis, Dr. scott.
The first thing a trial lawyer will do when they think they might have chance to make some money is to send the victim to the lawyer's personal doctor where the lawyer tells the doctor the diagnosis he is looking for.
Yeah, that's why she's said she's not going to sue.
This is common knowledge.
Brilliant logic you've got there, Bill. Let me summarize your argument: because lawyers use nefarious tricks to win lawsuits for their clients, it follows that this particular person was not injured in an assault.

Update:
A volunteer for Rand Paul's Senate campaign has been charged with misdemeanor assault after being filmed stomping on a progressive activist's head during a debate, Kentucky news sources report.

Timothy Profitt of Bourbon County, Kentucky, has admitted to being the person seen stomping on MoveOn activist Lauren Valle's head and shoulder as she tried to hand Paul a mock award.

Profitt will appear in front of a judge on Nov. 18 to face fourth-degree assault charges, reports the Lexington Herald-Leader. He faces a maximum 12-month prison sentence or $500 fine.

It ain't enough!

I think that Paul missed an opportunity here. He should have walked up to Valle, shook her hand, graciously accepted her "award," and posed for photos with her. Then worked the incident into his speech. Everyone would have had a good laugh and the situation would have been completely defused. I guess Paul's not too smart -- which is the reason he'll probably win. Stupidity is popular in Kentucky.
