I'm pretty sure Kil just won the thread with that pic. I'll be surprised if Officiant's head doesn't explode.

I know it has been a while since I've been actively posting, but didn't there used to be a page limit for threads? |

Dear Dude, You said, "The ability to prove reality exists is a question philosophers have struggled with for millennia and no one has been able to answer it." So it is a trick question and you've been blabbing about it to me for days now. Take your conundrum and start your own forum. Watch the Dawkins youtube above. It contains a personal message from me to you.
|
There is nothing "trick" about my question. If you must assume reality exists, then all your conclusions rest on assumptions. If you fail to recognize this, as you do, then you have built your entire worldview on faith. You believe, without evidence, and this makes you irrational.
Doubt about all conclusions is the only rational position, and this is the root of modern agnosticism.
I assume that reality is real, I acknowledge the problem of induction, and therefore am aware that nothing can be stated in universal absolutes. That is why I call myself agnostic. My agnosticism has nothing to do with your idiotic assertion that agnostics are trying to leave the door open for some human described deity, I've already told you a dozen times that I'm strongly atheist with regard to any deity ever described by humans, so are the large majority of agnostics here.
Now, if you can't answer my question, then your only other choice is to admit your error and recognize that your faith is, like all faiths, flawed. You can't be rational if you cling to your faith like some deluded fundamentalist.

Dear Valiant Dancer, So you are a Wiccan. I knew you were a fruitcake but I didn't know you were that nutty.
Dear Kil, Nice picture of a couple of agnostic pussies. Madalyn O'Hair had bigger balls than both of you. |

But yet I have far more intellectual integrity than you.
I am also very happy that your uninformed view of my religion reflects the complete lack of research that your other opinions show.
I also love the fact that you continue to cowardly avoid answering any of the critisms of your evidence. It is quite clear that you lost this argument somewhere around page 3. You continue to mentally thrash about and claim victory.
What have you won, Officiant?
Adulations from yourself. And a martyr complex.
It is clear as day why the Canadian Humanists declined to have you as a member.
Good luck in your blind faith. |

Wiccan isn't ritualistic at all. I don't think they even have any gods. It's like Buddhism, in a way; I've heard it's mostly just about taking care of yourself and your family... |

Well... I guess you at least have some criteria for your appeals to authority. But of course, anyone who is familiar with the Darwin Awards knows that big balls does not equal brains. At least we know where your thoughts come from, anyhow. Tell me. Do you have children? It would be a real disservice to mankind if you have passed your genes on to another generation. |
Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Not quite.
It has some rituals celebrating the cycle of seasons. It has Gods and Goddesses. The hands-offy kinds. You look to the God/Goddess for the aspect that you want to change within yourself.
Taking care of your friends and family as well as yourself. Recognizing that other's spiritual paths are to be respected. And self improvement to make ourselves better people. |

True, but people have this misconception that it's like some kind of super-pagan, "lets kill some babies" religion. That's just ridiculous. |

Dear Dude, You wrote, "Now, if you can't answer my question," and "a question philosophers have struggled with for millennia and no one has been able to answer it." Is this the only tune you can play? You been asking the same goofy question ad nauseam for weeks. No one has answered it for thousands of years. How many more thousands of years are you going to keep on asking the same unanswerable question??
I believe that religion is the greatest cause of human misery and we should use education to eradicate it. My cause is to convert the cowardly fence sitting agnostics into brave rational atheists and so remove this deceitful pillar of faith. |

How's that working out for you, on this site alone?
Answer: pretty shitty
Q for you: If you're so "brave", why are you such a gutless turd about supporting your innumerable claims? |
