One of our local all-sports stations had this interview with Reverend Andrew Sheldon, an Anglican minister and a member of the faculty at the University of Toronto. He has problems with Tebow's mixing of religion and sport, and the way he phrases his comments is interesting. He has no problem with Tebow the person, he shows respect, but at the same time he shows how shallow the whole idea is. His comment at the end is hilarious for anyone who's been a long-suffering maple Leafs fan. Here's a religious guy I could easily share a glass of wine with. His comments start at the 33:00 minute mark:
