I like this game. Sadly I missed the first instalments.
Anyhow, it looks to me like the face comes from a painting, making me suspect that the person died some time ago.
That's all I have. |

The "organization" was the Church of Scotland. (I'll mention what the person was charged with, and what the defense was if necessary.) |

Very good, Kil! Congratulations! I just happened to run into the Desmond ("Lost") Hume photo while searching for David Hume images. And yes, I prefer photos to paintings, but David Hume seems to have been camera-shy in life. |
