Kind of a pinhead, eh?

I try to match the distance from eyes to mouth when patching in new faces. I did that this time, too, though after making that match, I re-sized larger yet. I think the impression of a small head in this case comes mainly from the voluminous garb of the original subject of the painting, King George III. (His wig helped make his head seem proportional, as did George's rather fat face.)

Hint: When this person started a rock band, just one tune was successful, and only in the Philippines.

Hint: That unsuccessful New Wave band is dead. But the person whose face this is about is alive and famous.

Ricky Gervais?

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. (Eph 5:15-17)

Ricky Gervais?
Yes! Congratulations, Convinced!

With Bill Macrae, Ricky formed the group, Seona Dancing. Their single, "More to Lose" was a hit in the Philippines, according to Wiki. Nice song, too, in my opinion.

Addendum: You really surprised me, Convinced. You got that with very little in the way of clues. Of the images I'd posted, I personally could see not much likeness of Ricky-of-the-Present, except that last one, which I was posting while you were hitting "Post." And even that one had just a glimmer of Now-Ricky.

I'd expected to have to give some much broader hints. The whole rock-band thing, while fair, was meant to distract, as one just doesn't usually think of Gervais as a rocker.

Nice going!
