Yes, Dr. Mabuse, your messaged answer is correct, congrats! The face is that of Adam Savage, the Mythbuster.
Since I could not find a single photo of Adam with his glasses off, I thought maybe having them off would make his face harder to identify. But removing glasses from a face is no trivial job in Photoshop. I fear I mauled Adam's face a bit in the process. I knew it would be difficult, so I pasted his face over that of a self-portrait of Rembrandt van Rijn. That way the effects of my hatchet job might tend to blend in visually with a real oil painting's strokes. |
