L. Ron Hubbard?

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

No. But I see the resemblance, once you noted it.

David Icke
Correct! David Icke (pronounced "Ike," not "Icky") is one of the strangest and most psychotic of the woos. He promotes the belief that the Earth has secret reptilian overlords, their features obscured by electronic devices. From Wiki:
He continued nevertheless to develop his ideas, and in four books published over seven years—The Robots' Rebellion (1994), And the Truth Shall Set You Free (1995), The Biggest Secret (1999), and Children of the Matrix (2001)—set out a moral and political worldview that combined New-Age spiritualism with a passionate denunciation of totalitarian trends in the modern world. At the heart of his theories lies the idea that the world is becoming a global fascist state, that a secret group of reptilian humanoids called the Babylonian Brotherhood controls humanity, and that many prominent figures are reptilian, including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, Kris Kristofferson, and Boxcar Willie.[3]
I strongly object to Icke's inclusion of Boxcar Willy in his list of Reptiloids!

Icke hears voices that tells him what to say and write. He's the Son of God, he says. He's antisemitic to boot. That's merely a sampling of his insanity. Yet many thousands of other lunatics believe his crazed pronouncements.

You know what's funny? A lot of the "new world order" conspiracy advocates paint the whole thing as a zionist plot to rule the world. At first, they thought Icke was calling the Jews lizards, as a metaphor. When they realized that Icke was serious about the lizards, many of the conspiracy nuts started to distance themselves from him. He's just a taste too crazy for the crazies!
