I give you this, along with a hat tip to PZ Myers. The real "ScienceDaily" article is no less fanciful than my parody. And some of the silliest stuff in that is quoted from the original scientific paper.
Here's the American Chemical Society's bone-headed press release, which ScienceDaily reprinted uncritically.
