Fair question. I don't always go for a joke (and even when I do, it's often more miss that hit). In this case, I just wanted to fiddle with chimps. I like chimps, they make me smile. The text is from "Hello" from the musical "Book of Mormon." I like that, too.
No intention to try to make people think Mormon missionaries are chimps. In fact, I suspect all chimpanzees are atheists. |

How insulting to Chimps and Geese, shame on you. Putting a goose head on a Mormon??? I suppose that's better than putting a Mormon's head on a goose. No doubt that kind of bird would try to fly backwards.  |

I was fortunate to find two fine cow heads and two great dog heads.
As for the dogs, the one in the left is showing a submissive "I'm your pal, what do you want me to do?" expression, in addition to displaying a very advanced (and probably newly-evolved) smile. Wolves don't smile, and neither do most dogs. But to humans it's such an engaging behavior that it will probably be spread to most dogs over time.
The dog on the right is displaying a totally rapt attention. If a human showed such a face, we would not turn our back upon him and walk away. We might stay and pay careful attention, or we might back slowly away, probably nodding agreeably as we did so. But we'd be fools to turn our back.
Together, these guys would make an optimal sales team. |

I've had a few encounters with the rascals, myself, matched in battles of wit that I've lost. Fortunately, no raccoons in the Philippines. |
