Correct. H.H.! It's Canadian Larry Moran, a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. Moran also runs a blog called Sandwalk, named for a long path behind Charles Darwin's Down House residence, where Darwin had walked and mused each day.
Professor Moran has a particular interest in and talent for getting under the thin skins of the Discovery Institute people, whom he opposes with great vigor.
I tried to find a different way than usual to provide hints this time. Little did I know that some might think a little too hard and twistedly about them. But that, also, was fun.

Yep. I somehow got to looking for the name of the guy who writes booman's tribune. Discovered a relationship between this 2003 "Get a brain Morans" picture and booman's blog. Of course even that relationship may not have been accurate since I was already way off course and this is the internet. |
