Hint #7:
Hints 1 & 2 show places in which these persons have taken an active interest.
Hint #3 points to the two first names of these persons. The cartoon dog's first name is a close variation of the person's name (both are common spellings). At the bottom of the second image in Hint #3, a useful geographic coordinate is given. The name of the feature at that coordinate includes the first name of the second person. Googling those two names with "and" between them should be fruitful.
Hint #4 alludes to where these people operate.
Hint #5 suggests one of their interests.
Hint #6 is (most of) a poster for a presentation they gave.
There is more than enough data to work with, people!
(But whatever else you try, it doesn't help to Meowbify this page!) |

Instead of discovering ghosts, ETs, etc., they use a skeptical approach to unravel the claims. They represent the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Research Society. They have debunked several "ghosts," and have successfully campaigned against a ballot measure that would have had the city of Denver set up a "Denver Extraterrestrial Affair Commission."

| Very good! I was wondering when someone would get around to trying one of the obvious searches. It seems nobody input that geographical coordinate in Hint #3 into Google Earth. They could have found Antarctica's Mt. Baxter that way. Inputting Family Guy's cartoon dog, Brian along with Baxter would have Googled up the Rocky Mountain Paranormal Society, despite the different spelling.
I have to say, these guys are clever. They are sort of faking being fake paranormal investigators, without lying about it, if you can parse that. A very good example of how one can do local skeptic evangelism! |
