Yesterday marked the New York Police Department’s five millionth stop-and-frisk, the American Civil Liberties Union said in a grim announcement. Link.

How long will this continue? I suspect, in spite of potential extreme protests, it will continue way into the future. Due to the subjugation of Minority American voters and all others for that matter, justified by the fallacy of greater security. Not for the security of the voters but those in control. Based on human history any perceived reversal will be in reality delusional and only superficial. American voters control very little or gets a say in what their government does, others do and they aren't moving over anytime soon. Happy sucker day, fellow suckers.

But what is this? The system works?
Next week, however, may mark the beginning of justice for New York’s stop-and-frisk victims. Center for Constitutional Rights attorney Vince Warren, who is suing the NYPD over stop-and-frisk, has called it “ the trial of the century." If presiding judge Shira Schiendlin’s past remarks are any indication of what the outcome may be, the NYPD, Mayor Bloomberg, and Commissioner Ray Kelly may be found guilty of 4th and 14th Amendment violations.

I can only find the thought that "Mayor Bloomberg, and Commissioner Ray Kelly may be found guilty of 4th and 14th Amendment violations." laughable to the highest degree.

I got to ask, how much has the system been working for the first 5 Million? What does the historical and reality based evidence suggest? Thoughts?

Has anyone simply refused to go along with it, like those in the now famous immigration search video? Seems unconstitutional, but I'm neither American or a lawyer so I may be wrong.

Without video backup that would be foolish anywhere in America. I also would not be so brave without the app where the video is uploaded on the fly or in real time, securing the evidence beyond the phone/camera. The police have been known, on occasion, to violate people's right's, confiscate the video/phone and delete the video "evidence". Without evidence your word is worth shit, they're just words without evidence and have no value against a cop's in court. Even with that, there is the need to have the resources to hire a lawyer to protect your rights, by filing a law suit. These city Blacks and Hispanics don't have resources for that. Neither can they afford the disruption it would create in their life. Bloomberg and the NYPD know exactly what their doing and what they WILL get away with. I don't believe it possible for them to be put in jail or loose their positions if found guilty. The absolutely worse that could come is a court order to stop or/and the CITY (tax payers) pay damages but to who exactly. I don't even know if they are keeping records of this shit. Meaning names, dates, times or locations of these "random" searches.

Sadly any cop can plant evidence on you and it's then their words against yours, you loose. Of course most cops are not that sick but in NYC it's department and city policy to perform these searches, in the numbers they do and not by single officers. Even if a cop doesn't like it there is no way he can be seen not following policy, with another cop present. Remember the Stanford Prison Experiment" showed what honest well intentioned, moral people will do when they are encouraged by superiors to get the job done AND how the victims will allow the abuses if they don't feel empowered to stand up to it. There are extreme psychological pressures for both sides to "play" their part for their own good. That famous experiment clearly shows how the human psyche allows that human individuals can be either the abusers or the abused by simply being assigned either role. The video link about the experiment explains in detail what is involved with this topic. It's fascinating to watch and is very informative, I highly recommend watching it.
