I have it on good authority that this guy is serious.

he teaches people how to make it. He could patent it and make millions, but he's not that kind of guy. |

Don't you have to demonstrate that it actually works before you can patent it?

A model was required up until the mid/late 20th century, but then software patents came long and made that kinda tough. Now, the only patents that require a working prototype are perpetual-motion machines (or "over unity" generators). |

lets not get caught up in the details, it distracts us from laughing at the guy with a mental illness. |

So you'd rather laugh at a person with mental illness, than taking the opportunity to learn something you didn't know before? |

| I love your great question Mab. I've dabbled in this but mostly superficially. I even paid for a patent search for a concept once, some years ago, which I won't get into here. However, I'm of the opinion that it is not required to be shown or demonstrated to work to actually be granted a patent and that includes international one's but I could be wrong.
From what I believe, until adequately corrected, it only has to not be "obvious" and not patented before for an idea to be issued a patent. Might I suggest, doing a Google search for "Wacky patented devices" to support my case. There are even wacky medical patented devices I would say "can't work" that have been issued. Again both US and international. |

Well if no one has been abducted wearing one, it must work. I don't want to be abducted so I am getting one. |

Well it's not 100% as noted in the article.A Record of Success
The thought screen helmet has effectively stopped several types of aliens from abducting or controlling humans. Only one failure since 1998. |
Obviously all other widely accepted practices to ward off undesirable events should continued to insure this hat's protection at 100%. Such as beseeching spirits and wearing powerful symbols on the body also. They too are also reported and believed to be quite effective. My rabbit's foot key tag have been quite helpful as I am still abduction free without the use of this hat. |

| How can you possibly know that you haven't been abducted? |
