It's not a glitch - if your browser reloads that page, it will make 67 requests for the 67 different resources specified on that page on our server.
Only once--but it has to be in English. Now I understand what the 67 requests were.
quote: Every time you click "Reply with Quote," your browser requests those same 67 items. Why your browser reloaded the page when it did is what you've got to figure out - the reload wasn't caused by our system.
So...? Ohh... I think I see what your problem is... When I said "My apologies in advance if it was just a system glitch," did you think I was limiting it to your sub-system--i.e., the SFN server?
Oh heavens no. Maybe I'm just more used to thinking of things in terms of a "bigger picture" than you are.
The "system" I was referring to was the one formed by my computer with all it's software and hardware, at one end, the Internet and the SFN server with all its software and hardware at the other. Three sub-systems; one system.

Wasn't there supposed to be a second warning if no apology was given? I thought I read that somewhere. |

Do you really expect me to buy into such crap when you've had at least five different opportunities to set me straight on that? Here:According to the logs, it wasn't a problem with this system, as you clearly meant. - here
Your apology was contigent only upon there being a glitch with the software here. - here
As soon as you can provide evidence that a client-side function is a glitch in the "system," I'll seriously entertain that option. - here
Yes, a glitch in your computer and/or head. - here
I said that something on your end of things (either you or a glitch in your system) reloaded the "Reply with Quote" page. I've been saying that for quite some time now. - here And then there's the matter of the little gem that you wrote:When one uses the link to return to the reply box, does it usually delete what people have typed? If not, you likely had a glitch. - here (my bolding) It appears that you are grasping at straws. |

I don't always read your rants very closely, Dave. Like I alluded to before, I don't understand much of the techno-speak you sometimes slide into. Plus, I had the benefit of knowing I had not made an error. So your references to what I might have done or not done were so far removed with what I actually did and didn't do, it was pointless to read it. Had I paid more attention I might have noticed your focus on the part of the system you have access to. But then again, I thought you were thinking of the bigger picture like I was. I guess I was wrong about that.
Even so, no--I don't expect you to believe me. But it doesn't alter the truth of the situation, so I can always take comfort in that... |

Wow, ergo. Just... wow. Do you feel that same sort of casual disregard for everyone? I wish you'd let me know, pages ago, that you'd gone from anger at me to not giving a damn - it would have saved lots of time for both of us. I wouldn't have worked so hard at trying to help you understand what I was saying, and you could have avoided making up lots of bullshit and doing phony "tests."
What school did you go to, anyway? I want to forbid my five-year-old from getting any sort of psych degree there. |

My disregard for you, Dave, has always been considered--never casual.

I told you pretty early on in this thread that I didn't need to know the details behind any system glitch. And I don't recall doing any phony tests or making up any bs.

I never said I wasn't paying attention.
