The second clip actually shows that the building came down the way most of us think it did. In fact, it's a smoking gun that pretty much destroys the controlled demolition theory. Take a closer look and you will see a main support simply buckle in a way that no explosion could account for.

Also, please don't just post links. We have all seen those clips before.
If you think you have a case, state it.

I think the second clips is one of the clearest clips around showing that there were no explosions there, only a collapse. How anyone could post this clip in support of some explosion/controlled demolition scenario really is beyond me.

Nice comeback. Well considered. Articulately expressed. Hey, you win…

Uncertainty may make you uncomfortable. Certainty makes you ridiculous.

Some people (or sockpuppets) believe without proof in a simplistic comic book style "government conspiracy" directly involving 9/11 and the falling towers perhaps because they intuitively sense, as do many, that there is actually a real conspiracy, but not directly involving the terrorists who independently hatched the plot and crashed the planes. Indirectly, from all the actions and lies of the Bush administration, there is a feeling of a tacit self-serving conspiracy or policy of co-opting terror attacks as incentive to invade Iraq for its oil (via obvious targets in Afghanistan.) That is where the outrage lies. The cultivation of continuous war for narrow political (i.e. Neocon Republican) and financial profit.

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

No, I'm afraid we can't accept something so straightforward as that.

I'm seeing another great debate about this in another forum, and it just amazes me the length some people will go to in order to complicate this and make it a huge cover up and conspiracy/plot/etc...

The theories just get more and more involved and complicated, to the point of being surreal. And all of it really comes down to the answer that BigPapaSmurf gives here: yes.

That's it. Slam dunk, case closed. Yes, it could, and did, happen that way.

It took me three days to write that arguement.
