And, for the record, there are people out there who really believe it is 100% real (as in not generally scripted, outcomes predetermined, and that any human can remain conscious after having a 350lb man jump down 5 feet and plant his elbow in your face). I know atleast one.

I wonder what the correlation is between people who believe in the authenticity of Pro Wrestling and people who believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible?

well, wrestling has always been popular in the deep south

What are you looking at? Haven't you ever seen a pink shirt before?

I would hazard a guess that the same thing drives both. Level of education has a strong correlation with religious belief, and I'd guess the same correlation exists between education level and believing that pro wrasslin is unscripted.

Hey smoke. What do you think? Is pro wrestling "fer real" or not? And does it violate the Second Law of Thermodynamics?

Bah, smoke is long gone-- no doubt busy trolling other atheist/skeptic sites and plugging his website/"ministry" where he can.

Since it might be construed as uncivil to say that smoke is some kind of loon who came here knowing nothing about the topic, got his ass kicked, and doesn't have the nards to come back and admit defeat, I won't say that. I'm sure he's out feeding the poor, caring for the sick, and giving up all his worldly possessions just like the J-man told him to, so he's much too busy.

What's funny about all of this is that after his initial sucker punch post, he said that he wanted to discuss that AiG site. Having said that, he engaged in an odd debate regarding ID where he seemed to claim that it both a) supports Creationism, and b) was at odds with Creationism. And then he left. I don't think calling him a loon is uncivil. All things considered, at this point I'd say it's being kind!

The trouble is that Smoke most likely thinks he won this debate. I've seen this kind of poster before, they continuously present the attitude of winning without presenting any of the necessary content. Thats the problem with debates of this nature. Just presenting the right attitude can give the impression you were somehow intellectually untouchable. I've no doubt that if Smoke showed this thread to some of his religious friends they would all be patting him on the back for his efforts.

Not if they have any reading comprehension skills! He says at the start that he'd like to talk about AiG, and then procedes to discuss ID to the exclusion of anything else. And even his ID discussion is weak. It's not even clear what he's talking about from post to post!

Don't forget his claim to have links and then when asked for said links - no links appeared. Of course, I don't think he's been back since then, so we'll have to wait for him to return - or not - to see these refutations of published articles on the evolution of flagellum.
