The Fall of the House of Archbishop Ussher

Konya, Turkey, March 6, 2007 (DNS) -- Findings at a newly-discovered grave site near the ancient town of Çatalhöyük has demolished the date of creation used by most so-called Young Earth Creationists.

Archaeology grad students at work in the lab.

Dr. Arnold Trimm, chief archaeologist at the site explained:

"In the 1650's, James Ussher, the Anglican Archbishop of Armagh, calculated that the universe and the earth were created by God at nightfall preceding Sunday October 23, 4004 BC. Modern Young Earth Creationists pretty much still accept that date. What we excavated yesterday completely destroys that silly notion."

The calendar provided the key.
