I've no idea whether or not she'd be a great presidential candidate, but she certainly seems far more sensible than the loon asking her whether or not she's a heretic.
I've seen her speak before, I'm sure SFN members have posted links to footage of her speeches before.
The link didn't show any timeline info, so I assume it ended where it did correctly. Ah, a quick search of the site shown in the footage, and substituting the various numbers into their search engine turned up the correct item.
I found the transcript here, on Memri TV. Her name is Wafa Sultan.
The Jews have come from the tragedy (of the Holocaust), and forced the world to respect them, with their knowledge, not with their terror, with their work, not their crying and yelling. An impressive lady.
I think the stupidest question put to her was the one about being an heretic. Of course she's an heretic! Everyone who rejects part or all of any religion is guilty of (or blessed with) heresy -- he should have asked if she was an "apostate" instead.

Like Arnold, Wafa Sultan probably wasn't born in the USA, and additionally isn't even a US citizen. But she sure has some chutzpah. I also hope she has some good security arrangements.

Didn't we discuss this a while back? I believe that is an old video. Either way, it was great to hear someone from that culture speaking out and having it broadcast on their main stream news.

Yeah, someone posted the vid link a few months ago. Not only are her ideas sound, but the woman has a fine way of expressing herself with a certain rhythm of speech, which I find lends authority to her words. I wish she could have taken on the "banana theologians" a few weeks ago in that TV debate. She would have cleaned their clocks. They would have had to retire afterward, like the magical martial arts "master" did.

Get real.
She isn't ignoring it, she's on TV giving an interview. She was trying to make a point, and her point is still valid. Nowhere did I hear her claim the Jews were perfect or did no wrong.
The idea that the Jews (in general) have earned the respect of others in the world via their accomplishments is valid.
No country, not even Sweden, can claim a history that doesn't include tragic and stupid mistakes.
Her thesis remains valid. When was the last time you heard of a Jew strapping on a bomb and blowing up some Palestinians in a suicide attack?

YO: The remarks about Jews was cautiously worded, I thought. She was careful to make rhetorical distinction between what Israelis do in protest and what Israel does militarily. I listened to the piece three or four times. I felt comfortable with her assessement, although she didn't go where the Likud, Netanyahu and that mindset which nests in the Zionist milieu.
Jerome asks me: Are you kidding? I ask Jerome: Are YOU kidding? It's as simple as that, my skeptical friend.
And to JohnOAS: Thanks for blue-linking the information that is clearly visible at the opening of the video. It goes by quickly, but I paused it to get the information, then proceeded with the viewing. And yes, the text is worthy of display. I am not terribly adept at such feats.
The only thing I wondered about was the edits in the tape. I don't think her rap was consecutive, and there were times when I thought she might be reading a prompter; when she stumbled on one or two of the words, it was almost as if she had blown the copy.
But, whether it was staged, or not, I think, generally, what she had to say was very important, and probably worthy of a re-posting here, although I'd not seen it before.
I also picked up some humor for myself in the piece: The straight-laced moderator with Western pretentions attempting to guide the
discussion to a more intellectual plane by suggestion as to who first coined some of the language in the war between those who live in
