By which I mean, not questions implied by the storyline, but questions explicitly asked in the dialogue.

Such as:

"Do you feel lucky?" (Dirty Harry)

and

"Do you like gladiator movies?" (Airplane)

or

"Who are those guys?" (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid)

My mind blanks, but I'm sure there are better ones.

"Where are your badges?"

What a man believes upon grossly insufficient evidence is an index into his desires -- desires of which he himself is often unconscious. If a man is offered a fact which goes against his instincts, he will scrutinize it closely, and unless the evidence is overwhelming, he will refuse to believe it. If, on the other hand, he is offered something which affords a reason for acting in accordance to his instincts, he will accept it even on the slightest evidence. The origin of myths is explained in this way. - Bertrand Russell

Oh, I was wrong about Taxi Driver. Looks like one of Jerome's quotes got it right. The full quote, from IMDB is "Travis Bickle: You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talking... you talking to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the fuck do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? OK."

I love that last one. I imagine Rev. Falwell in Hell, along with Torquemada and others of their ilk, greeting arriving parishioners with that comment.

From one of the all-time great comedies...
Elaine Dickinson: A hospital? What is it?
Rumack: It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
