We had a Governor Moonbeam here, though not nearly so pretty as Al Capp's gal. Presently, he's Mayor Moonbeam of Oakland:

I wish! It's been so dry around here that the bullfrogs are comin' up to my door beggin' for a drink, and a good tropical storm would have been almost as welcome as Xena's sidekick.
But she didn't even hit the coast hard enough to amount to anything.
