According to an article at CNN, Michael B. Mukasey, 66, a retired Federal judge, is being considered for US Attorney General, to replace the fascistic lickspittle Alberto Gonzales (may he rot in Super-Max).
Judge Michael B. Mukasey (One caveat: This may be a news item floated by Mukasey supporters and not indicate a real White House intention. Such trial balloons are often used to apply pressure upon Presidents.)
Having read Michael B. Mukasey's Wiki article, I am impressed that he seems to have been a fairly decent judge. He's no Bush sycophant, and has even shown concern for the rights of the accused, as when he warned against prejudicial leaks coming from the prosecution during a terrorism trial.
We could do worse, but will he really be nominated, instead of some loyal Bushie who can be counted upon pursue draconian police state policies, while not prosecuting White House conspirators?
