This is from Bill Muehlenberg's Culture Watch site.
EDIT: I think I've gotten his URL now; his site kept saying "attachment/20" or something at first.
This is from
Jonathan Sarfati 25.11.07 / 6pm on that post:
Antony Flew responded to those ridiculous New York Times allegations:
My name is on the book and it represents exactly my opinions. I would not have a book issued in my name that I do not 100 percent agree with. I needed someone to do the actual writing because I'm 84 and that was Roy Varghese's role. The idea that someone manipulated me because I'm old is exactly wrong. I may be old but it is hard to manipulate me. This is my book and it represents my thinking.
Harper One deputy publisher Mark Tauber also said:
We stand behind this book. Roy Varghese took Tony's thoughts and put them in publishable form. This is not an unusual practice.
It is not surprising that the New York Times would hate Flew for abandoning atheism: this is the paper whose reporter Walter Duranty whitewashed the murders, famines and show-trials of "the greatest living statesman", another atheist, Stalin, and won the Pulitzer Prize, which the Times still displays.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that Sarfati goes on to attack Carrier's credibility.
Jonathan Sarfati 9.12.07 / 10pm Richard Carrier is hardly to be trusted. His comments defending chemical evolution against Flew's realization that it is bunk are ludicrous to a chemist like me. Greek expert Dr Daniel Wallace also takes him to task for sophomoric translations of some New Testament passages. Jonathan Sarfati, Brisbane |

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.
Another example of this guy's lunacy here. |

Jonathan Sarfati is a charlaton as well as an hyprocrit. Therefore, he is the very apex of fundamentalist reference.
He also plays a damned good game of chess, and his greatest scientific achievement came when he played former World Champion Boris Spassky to a draw.
