Debate on Cheney Impeachment Averted

WASHINGTON (AP) -- House Democrats on Tuesday narrowly managed to avert a bruising debate on a proposal to impeach Dick Cheney after Republicans, in a surprise maneuver, voted in favor of taking up the measure.

OY SEZ:

This is a great chance for each of the Blue Dogs to grow a complete set. If they don't, I guess they want Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney as the next president. If that happens, it will take even longer to repair the damage inflicted on this nation since 2000.

It's all pretty clear to me. Probably the most significant clarifying aspect of this is: letting future presidents and vice presidents know that they can't pull the crap Bush and Duck! Cheney! have pulled for way too long.

How nice it is to be on the same side as Bruce Fein, a quite conservative Republican, who has a sense of allegiance to the Constitution.

Testicularly yurz, Orwellingly Yurz.
