I guess this settles that lie of dinosaurs dieing out millions of years ago.

Mt Blanco was also in the news last week for their auction of a mastadon skull amongst of items to raise money and prevent the closing of the "museum".

I only hope that the person that purchased the skull was just not a private collector and that the skull will end up in a place that the public can view it, along with the other fossils that where sold off to keep this joke a afloat.

Well, since they have at least two diploma mill fake PhD's (one of whom actually runs the campus-less university that gave him his degree) who swear the Dremel Ica stones are authentic, you gotta admit there's some real scholarship involved. There also may be some real lawsuits involved, by whatever sucker investor buys one or more of the stones.

As I recall, there was found to be quite a cottage industry in manufacturing ica stones. They're pretty neat gravings and I'd like to have a couple myself (but not for $75.00 a pop!).

Of course, the woo-woo joined the creationists in lauding them, indeed they pretty much got the the whole thing going.
Cabrera attempted to resolve the many scenes into a narrative, and from there to decipher a history of the civilization he believed to have made the stones. He believed that the ancient technology belonged to what he called Gliptolithic Man, an extraterrestrial race. This race supposedly arrived sufficiently long ago to coexist with the dinosaurs and genetically engineered modern man. Some time afterward, they left to another planet (utilizing the nearby Nazca lines as a spaceport) before some catastrophe occurred.
Lovely and a little weird, the utter crap that people will subscribe to! Small wonder that there are so many suckers with a system going broke in 'Vegas.
