I am very disappointed in you, Halfmooner. This one is prime material for a really surreal Moonscape feature, and yet I don't see it. Do work something out with it....
We've all wondered how some 28-30 % still think that the brain-spavined liar currently infesting the White house is doing a really marvelous job. This in complete defiance of virtually all of the facts. But dig it: How the other side thinks

I read a lot of far-right blogs for one of my other gigs, and it occurs to me once in a while that most readers of progressive blogs probably don't have a good sense of how the “other side” thinks. How do they perceive the same events that we see? How do they endorse ideas and policies that seem obviously misguided by our values? What's wrong with them?
To help promote a broader understanding of competing ideas, I thought I'd pass along a post from AJ Strata, who was quite impressed with the president's State of the Union address last night.
| And now a brief if soggy paragraph of of some of the most deluded opinion I've seen since the latest O'Leary article at UD: America is blessed - very blessed. We have had an amazing leader who believes in the wisdom of ‘we the people'. Through 7 years of attack from within and without. [sic] from across the aisle and from those too obsessed with purity in his party, President Bush has been a stalwart gentleman who has maintained dignity and honor for his office as those around him have collapsed into angry rants. The nation is going to miss George W Bush. | Jeeze AJ, get a room to do that in!
There's a bit more in the same vein, but my gag reflex is in contention with my sense of humor so y'all will just have to open the link. The thing about it is; AJ is serious.
Here's an example of Bushonomical mathmatics I happened across: One Bush Left Behind

Here's your question, class:
In his State of the Union, the President asked Congress for $300 million for poor kids in the inner city. As there are, officially, 15 million children in America living in poverty, how much is that per child? Correct! $20.
Here's your second question. The President also demanded that Congress extend his tax cuts. The cost: $4.3 trillion over ten years. The big recipients are millionaires. And the number of millionaires happens, not coincidentally, to equal the number of poor kids, roughly 15 million of them. OK class: what is the cost of the tax cut per millionaire? That's right, Richie, $287,000 apiece.
Mr. Bush said, “In neighborhoods across our country, there are boys and girls with dreams. And a decent education is their only hope of achieving them.”
So how much educational dreaming will $20 buy?
| Yeah AJ, how far will a double sawbuck go toward buying school books? Wake up and smell the cess pool, bro; it really stinks....

Fil, you expect of me the impossible. How could anyone exaggerate such nonsense as that which AJ Strata has written? How could anyone improve upon this mind bending hilarity? In a thousand years, even assisted by a band of drunken, pot-smoking monkeys at keyboards, I couldn't come up with anything to approach that.
My hat is off to Mr. Strata.

| So is mine; so is mine. In fact, my hat is so far off to him that I seem to have lost it....
But don't give up too quickly. The challenge is a mighty one but there is always a weakness; in this case, that our AJ was not trying to be funny. Take your time and mull it over; dissect & glean it, if you will. Something will occur.
And never forget: the very best exaggerations and insults are the most subtle ones....
