YO:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/30/mccain.endorsements/index.html Orwellingly Yurz Sez:
This is about as unexpected as the sun rising tomorrow morning in the east. What's really going to be funny is when McCain gets the nomination then having to endure the Bush endorsement---tacit or otherwise. OY!

McCain, should he get the GOP nomination, will be in a very tough struggle. As he tries to remain afloat, Bush will throw him a line, but instead of a life-ring at the end of the line, there will be an anchor. He'd do well to swim as far away from Bush's unnavigable ark as he can. A Bush endorsement is not going to help him.

I think McCain (hated by much of the Republican establishment as a nonconformist maverick) will have a hell of a time getting nominated, if big money and power prevails in the GOP! The bloated fat felines at the top of that food chain will do almost anything to try and stop him.
Limbaugh may die of apoplexy, choking on his microphone! The hand picked acolyte, Guliani, quit today: but Mutt Romney is standing by, ready and willing to take orders from the Cheney cabal!
If McCain is nominated, Barillary will have plenty to trash him with as far as his support of Lonesome George, which has been substantial. My guess is that George will keep his mouth (and his endorsing hand) shut tight - there will be plenty of attack material available to the Dems tying McCain to Bush, without him supplying more! It would be the kiss of death!
I wish to Juno that Romney would get it, though. I don't care how hard the Dems continue to fuck things up, they still could win over Mutt Mormoromney! They probably will find a way to lose to war hero McCain, however. |

What choice does the Tutonic Twit (I promised I wouldn't call him that any more, but whaddahell?) have? I don't think Romney's gonna get it (none of the neocons 'get it,' really) and McCain's gone gibbering 'round the bend. Arnie's gotta endorse somebody, the poor fucker, and no matter which, it's the wrong one. This is delicious on so many levels.

I saw Arnie speaking the other day and it was far more inspiring than any of the other R's, at least he's closer to the edge of reason than most of em. |
