And Faceplant, the ultimate skate trick
Websters is a bit behind on the last two, but they will make the cut eventually.

| I always liked "raze"-- the meaning, "to knock down, demolish" coupled with the spelling (the z, in particular) made it a harsh, violent word. And then, its homophone means the exact opposite! |

Huh. One advantage to playing D&D as a kid was that it helped expand one's vocabulary beyond that of the typical pre-teen (when I first started playing in the early, early 80's, the game was almost certainly geared towards college aged kids). But I never knew until right now that vorpal was a made-up word coined by Lewis Carroll.
Still. My +5 vorpal blade will cut your arm off with a successful d20 roll. |
