Yes, I've been noticing that. Which is all the more reason to keep a Republican from getting into a position to appoint any more judges. There are too many scumbags on the Supreme bench as it is.

It's not just SCOTUS here, though -- it's the 5th and 6th Circuit Courts of Appeals. What do we know about the justices in those cases? Without knowing that, is it fair to necessarily ascribe the Supreme Court's refusal to hear the case to purely political motives?

You are correct. No one pays much attention to these lower courts, and Bush, with the willing assistance of an all but corrupt and cowardly Congress, has managed to pretty well pack some of them.

Did I say, "All but corrupt & cowardly?" It is going to take decades to get out of this mess!
