You seemed to have overlooked PZ's update, though:
Good news — it's not a hack at all. Those clever Irish atheists merely beat the Irish Catholics to their domain name…so it should be up indefinitely. |

I'm glad they didn't hack it. It seems rather stupid to hack a site and then signed your name - or in this case, website - to the job.
Interesting that the atheists got to the URL before the Catholics. Though not especially surprising considering how atheists are over-represented in computer geek circles compared to the overall population. |

| Well, I don't think anyone honestly thought the Irish atheists did the hacking, just that some naughty hacker thought it would be funny to redirect to them.
Interesting that the atheists got to the URL before the Catholics. | From what I've heard, the Catholics did have it first but they failed to use it for anything, then they let the hold on the domain name expire. It was then that the atheist group moved in and purchased the domain legitimately.
