In the first three hours, fifty minutes after PZ made his blog post, it had gathered 433 comments. A comment every 32 seconds, on average. That's insane.
Now up to 961 comments in 17 hours, 35 minutes, or one comment every 66 seconds. Slower, but not bad at all.
In comment #802 (10:27 AM today), one Jay Rogers says that PZ's interview is available on Rogers' blog. When I click to play, YouTube helpfully says that the clip is no longer available. That's funny as hell, too.
PZ's post repeated on Dawkins.net.
More details from PZ, and a clear statement that this account is utterly false.
