Well, if Hovind is your role model, you probably belong in jail. Turkish Islamic author Adnan Oktar[aka Harun Yahya] was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday for creating an illegal organization for personal gain,

Oktar ("Yahya") is a real creep, using the Christian fundy style of Creo quote-mining and lying blather to spread Creationism in the Muslim world. He adds to this paranoid anti-Freemasonry and antisemitism.
Oktar also is a pimp, and uses this to blackmail officials. (I wonder if his technique will spread to the Disco Institute, AiG, etc. If so, they need to refresh their stable.)

He is considered by some to be the leading Muslim advocate of creationism[1]. He subscribes to Old Earth creationism.[2][3] He is against Zionism and Freemasonry and sees them as very interrelated movements, though he denounces anti-Semitism[4] and terrorism[5]. |

There's been quite a discussion going on in my personal blog about the fact that all of WordPress.com has been blocked by Turkey.
Lots of people, including us, are confused and indignant about this wholesale censorship. Last night we received a letter from the person claiming to be responsible for the block, which in the interest of the community I'm going to publish in its entirety here:

I wish Mr. Oktar a nice, quiet rest in the Istanbul slam. It just might temper his chronic hysteria a little. Would that we could send him some like-minded companions.....
