Snitz 3.4 has come out with a whole bunch of new features. If you want to feel free to try it out as I begin to recode the entire site. Oh yeah, you don't know what fun is!

Hmm. Doesn't look too different. What are the major changes?

Well, for starters it is running a SQL 2000 database to replace the Access 2000 database we currently use.
Profiles have new features like whether you want to see anyone's profile, you can(if I turn it on) elect to be on stealth mode to Active USers. Admin can still see all though but to all other members you would be invisible. Email addresses are not displayed publicly. Passwords are encrypted on your cookie and in the database where before there were not.
We will have the ability to have moderated forums which means that a post doesn't show up until a moderator OKs it. This is just an option. I'm not saying we are doing anything or everything I list here. We can have "sticky" topics that always stay at the top of a forum.
Personal Messages has undergone a major overhaul.
The forum itself is incredibly better performing than the version we now use. The development team rebuilt Snitz from the ground up and made drastic coding changes that should make everyone's experice more enjoyable. They took a lot of care to ferret out what security issues they could which i am very happy about because exploits were becoming common and script kiddies were trying to hack SFN but we were saved because of the customizing I have done which make a simple cut and paste job ineffective.
Well, that's a start of the new features. Register there and check it out. I will be deleting all the data that's in there when the day arrives so feel free to test away and let me hear an ideas you may have.

It appears registering with the same username screws up one's cookies. It seems really fast, though. Is there any way to login?

Just noticed that translator thing up on top! I'd like to know why it has some languages but not so many others. Who the hell speaks Italian? Or French for that matter? I'd like to see Thai on there. Please.

Uhhhh, Italian and French people speak quite a lot of French and Italian I would expect.
I have no control over what's translated into what...for now. The next version of snitz will have even more internationalization features.
