Well, I obviously wasn't around on the board yesterday - but it was my b-day. Another day, another year older. Doesn't this thing ever reverse itself?

Have a wonderful day...

I did.

Happy birthday!

You might be able to go backwards but walking is really, really difficult.

Happy Birthday, Trish!

What is it? 29?

No, it doesnt' reverse itself, but as one ages, one can go form "Village Idiot" to "Eccentric"......

I thought one has to be rich to be eccentric?
I've already got the age I'm waiting for the money so I can go from crazy to eccentric.

Thanks for the well wishing. I'd just like the gray to go away (though ya really can't see it with my hair color) and the body is breaking down a bit, I'd like that to stop.

Ah well, if wishes were horses beggars would ride.

Trish, if that drawing is a close likeness of you, grey is (um, how shall I say without seeming like a sleaze) ... really really good.

As for body breaking down, I recommend weightlifting. You won't look like Ahnold, but you'll look damned attractive. It accentuates. It lifts and separates. It keeps things where they're supposed to be.

Again, Happy Bday!

If you think it's work, you're doing it wrong.

Feliz cumpleaņos, fair moderator.

How old do you have to be before we can start calling you Patricia?

Happy B'day from over in sunny Australia as well.

I recommend weightlifting as well.....however low weights and high reps. Keep it to no more than 375ml (12.6803 fluid ounces in US speak).

This is the approximate weight of a can of alcohol.....

No, it doesn't MAKE you younger but it makes you THINK like you look younger.

Works for me....

Glad you had a good birthday, friend.

I haven't found any way to reverse this ride, but I have learned to just hang on and enjoy it. And enjoy the grey -- on most people, it looks good.

Cheers!

Badger, gezzam,

I, um, used to lift, low weight high reps. Well, I have two rotator cuff tears in the right shoulder and one in the left. One knee that to fix they want to lay open completely and the other only orthoscopic surgery, and i've an SI joint that doesn't like to stay in place since I dislocated that. It's mostly my fault, ya know, riding a ten-speed as fast as you can into the side of a moving car is not conducive to keeping yourself in good physical health. Nor is taking many tumbles down the Hanging Wall at Snowmass. I was a bit too extreme in some of my attempts at sporting endeavors. I've destroyed most of my joints, and age ain't helping.

So what anniversary of your 29th birthday are we celebrating?

Sorry, work schedule has sort of kept me away from the computer for a few days. Belated Happy Birthday Trish.
What gray hair? You don't have any gray! (Although as Cait gets older, I'm sure she'll induce a few. lol)

We have enough youth. We need a fountain of smart.
