Why can't I delete this message?

Anyway, I had started a post about this article:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/in_depth/sci_tech/2002/leicester_2002/2246450.stm

Is it really accurate to talk about this as "human evolution"?

This is what happens when a nutritionist dabbles in dvolutionary biology (I have nothing against nutritionist, my mom is a dietician, its just not their field of expertise).

The height gain over the last 200 years has been shown quite convincingly to be do to an increase in better medicine/nutrition/etc. I think that obesity could also quite easily be shown as effects of different cultural trends. Those the increase in obesity can possibly be seen as a cultural evolutionary change, but I have serious doubts that it is a biological evolutionary change (based on inherited traits).
