The Rev. Charles P. Henderson, a Presbyterian minister, has a great article on About.com uncovering Pat Robertson's split-tongue lashing of the faith based initiative in public while privately accepting your tax dollars via back channels to fund his 700 club.

Kudos to Rev. Henderson for exposing Robertson for the asp he is.

It really is good to see someone from the religous community showing some common sense, though I think this may be just an anomaly. I have never before been this pessimistic about the direction this nation is taking in reference to the religion/state issue, but those elected officials in Washington DC, (and Baton Rouge), leave me with little room for hope.

I hope that in time, other religious leaders will follow his lead, but even that is doubtful.
