I am not seeing folder icons in the forum lobby. The only one that displays is the old Day of Terror folder. This has been going on for a few days. I have tried all my browsers, including the exalted IE. Same thing....

Try clearing your browser cache. I don't know much about Macs; it's possible all browsers use a shared cache.

I'm stumped. The only places those pictures are stored is in cache folders. Do you have a folder called "Temporary Internet Files"?

Did a security setting chage kil? Those folders are chosen as a new topic icon, a "read" forum icon, a flaming icon etc. This is done by checking your cookie for the time and day you last visited to select the correct icon. Could you have altered a cookie or computer security setting? These new operating systems have a lot of new security tools you might want to check out.

Just SFN. I emptied my IE cache.... Maybe I need to reload IE? I dunno. Mozzila is acting the same way, only its only the lobby folders that don't show. Same with AOLs browser, a version of IE... |

Try swearing loudly and/or striking something near the computer (or the computer itself) with your fist or another object. Next, prop your Mac next to the door or put it on a stack of papers so it can properly do the job it was designed to do. |

So the rest of the icons are fine? Only the folders don't show? Like I said, these folders are displayed depending on when your cookie says you last visited. Try deleting your SFN cookies(there may be 2) first.

Ok, I got one for you. I removed the cookies and before I signed in I saw the folders. The moment I signed in they were gone..... |

Are you sure they are gone? Do this, log out, delete the cookies, get up and spin around 3 times, go back in and make sure you log in "inside" the forum. Try deleting the cookie for another site you visit. I am curious as to whether that will work fine. But at least we know you can log in so it did make a cookie. There appears to be something up with the time it records.
