I really hope this guy can appeal. I really hope this judge gets impeached, disembarked, disembowled, or whatever is done with cretins in black robes.

Yep, that all makes sense as testimonies would of course be 100 percent reliable. People don't lie.....do they????

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

To paraphrase from the article,...The margin of error on -testimony- like that is one in a hundred million. It is 99.9% reliable.

That "judge" needs to put away his tea leaves and join the real world.

"We are all connected; to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, to the rest of the universe atomically."

"So you're made of detritus [from exploded stars]. Get over it. Or better yet, celebrate it. After all, what nobler thought can one cherish than that the universe lives within us all?"

The justice system in Brazil works similarly to that in most "3d World" nations. As long as the rich are in favor with the state, they are immune. If they fall out of favor, their possessions are appropriated by the state and they are imprisoned, murdered or deported. I know a few people who used to own vast properties in Brazil which the government "redistributed" to others more solicitous to the regime.

Impeachment? Not likely. Shot/stabbed/blown-up by a relative of the convicted 'father'? Much more likely.
